Insurance Customer Service Rep (Cash Posting)
HCR Manor Care provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy.
- Provides administrative support to Heartland offices by processing insurance/health plan referrals.
- Responsible for answering internal/external customer calls and performing administrative functions, including obtaining initial authorization, reauthorizations and verification of benefits/eligibility.
- Enters data into computer systems and maintains a high level of customer service.
- Responsible for timely and accurate Medicare/Medicaid and Insurance cash posting to multiple entities.
Candidate must have previous experience in medical accounts receivable as well as strong communication and problem solving skills.

High School Diploma or GED Required
One to three years of insurance verification or coding preferred. Basic office skills, good communication and telephone skills, and computer experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
