Spiritual Care Coordinator - PRN
Heartland Hospice is searching for a PRN (number of hours will vary from week to week) Spiritual Care Coordinator to support our hospice patients, families and staff as needed. We are looking for someone to assist with after hours on call weeknights and work on call 2 weekends/month. This role could grow into a regular part-time position.
As a Spiritual Care Coordinator you are responsible for providing spiritual support to clients, families, and the hospice staff via phone contact, home visits and referrals to the client/family, local clergy. You will assist with memorial services and activities relating to spiritual and religious issues of client, family and interdisciplinary team.

Experience in client/family counseling. Demonstrated experience in working with clients and families coping with terminal illness and death. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a less than part-time position.
Bachelor's from an accredited school of theology or equivalent, or Master's in Counseling or Master's in Social Work with 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required; Master's in theological studies or equivalent and completion of 2 units of CPE preferred. If affiliated or endorsed by a denomination or faith group must be in good standing, as evidenced by a certificate.
